COZ CLUB Letterhead Maker Present

Letterhead maker

Pick a brand and take away a Word file. The logo is the approved paste copy, held at 0.725 cm of artwork on every one of the nineteen, so a COZ COG letterhead and a COZ CONTROLS letterhead put COZ on the page at one size. The country line is a field rather than a box somebody has to drag, which is the whole point: the group can grow a country without anyone reopening Word.

How the page is set

Everything on the sheet is derived from two things: the paste copy's own centimetres, and the width of the text block. Nothing is placed by eye and nothing is placed against the page, which is the difference between this and the letterheads it replaces.

The logo is the paste copy, unchanged. assets/logo-doc-paste.svg for COZ CLUB and assets/companies/<brand>-doc-paste.svg for the eighteen: artwork 0.725 cm tall, H/4 of padding below it and nothing anywhere else, the file 0.9063 cm. Held by height across the whole family, so the width is the only thing that moves, 3.55 cm on COG to 6.21 cm on CONTROLS. The letterhead did not need a new size; it needed the one the system already holds.

The rule is the text block, in three. Orange, blue, green, 0.15 cm deep, with 0.138 cm of paper between them — three bars, not one bar changing colour, which is the measurement the supplied files carry and the thing that is easiest to lose. It is a table rather than the three drawn shapes they use, and that is what makes the width impossible to get wrong: a table sized to the text block cannot drift from it, and it follows a change of page size without being repositioned.

The country line holds the right edge. It sits in a cell that runs from the end of the logo to the right margin, so a longer list grows into real space instead of overflowing a fixed box. On COZ CONTROLS, the widest logo in the family, that still leaves a shade under 12 cm for a line which currently sets to about 6.4 cm: roughly twice the countries before it has to wrap.

Both rules sit exactly where the approved letterheads draw them, measured off the files. What changed is the bottom margin, which now stops at the rule instead of 0.94 cm below it. In the supplied files the footer is floating artwork and the text block runs straight over it, so a full page of letter prints across the rule. Naming the margin honestly costs nothing and the collision cannot happen.

What it does not do

It does not invent a descriptor. COZ CONSTITUTION and COZ CURATE have approved wordmarks and no CLUB of… line written down anywhere, so their letterhead carries the slot and leaves it empty. Putting words nobody has signed off onto company stationery is not a thing a generator gets to do, and it is the same refusal tools/generate-siblings.py makes in the artwork. They are offered here and they are not in the committed set.

COZ CLUB's line is all capitals. THE GLOBAL BUSINESS PLATFORM, per the guideline: the CLUB of Title Case rule is a company rule and COZ CLUB's own tagline was never in it. The supplied letterhead sets it in title case, and that is the deviation, not this.
